Pool & Spa Covers
Protect your pool. Preserve your peace of mind.
Explore pool and spa covers that fit your backyard, your routine and the way you use your water. From seasonal safety covers to everyday automatic protection, we’ll help you understand your options.
What kind of cover fits your needs?
Consider seasonal use, drainage, heat retention and how much hands-on maintenance you prefer.
Mesh safety cover
Why choose it: Seasonal protection with lighter handling. Rain and snowmelt drain through the fabric.
What to consider: Fine debris can pass through; sunlight blocking varies. Continue winter water care.
Solid safety cover
Why choose it: A barrier against sunlight and debris for a cleaner pool during the off-season.
What to consider: Manage surface water with the specified pump or drain panel. Handling is often heavier.
Insulated spa cover
Why choose it: Helps retain heat and keep debris out between uses.
What to consider: Measure shape, corner radius, skirt and hinge direction; choose insulation and handling features.
Automatic pool cover
Why choose it: Motorized opening and closing for convenient coverage. Helps reduce evaporation and heat loss.
What to consider: Requires suitable tracks, professional installation, power and routine maintenance.
Safety-cover performance depends on the selected product, correct fit, secure installation and manufacturer-directed care.

Compare options from Merlin, Meyco, Tara, LOOP-LOC and Hydra. We’ll help you narrow the choices based on your pool or spa and maintenance preferences.
Merlin

Merlin offers custom pool safety covers and insulated spa covers, with material choices to suit different maintenance priorities.
Mesh: SmartMesh provides water drainage and fine-debris filtration. Dura-Mesh II is a standard mesh option.
Solid & hybrid: Safety Solid XLS blocks sunlight and debris. SolidMesh combines lighter handling with solid-cover performance; both require a pump or drain panel.
Spa: Foam-core spa covers include Standard, Deluxe and Ultra models. Thermo-Light is a floating cover for larger or free-form inground spas.
Meyco
The original name in safety covers.
Meyco provides custom-fit seasonal safety covers, with lightweight mesh and solid options for a range of pool shapes.
Mesh: MeycoLite emphasizes lightweight handling and drainage. RuggedMesh uses a denser weave to filter finer debris.
Solid: PermaGuard provides a solid barrier for homeowners who prioritize keeping dirt and debris out of the pool.
Spa: Ask about Meyco DuraCore spa covers and the appropriate configuration for your spa.
Tara
Custom fit. Everyday practicality.
Tara safety covers pair made-to-measure construction with reinforced webbing, brass anchors and stainless-steel hardware.
Regular Mesh: A lightweight, fast-draining option for straightforward seasonal protection.
HD Mesh: A denser mesh that blocks up to 99% of sunlight while allowing rain and snowmelt to drain through.
Solid: Laminated vinyl blocks sunlight and debris. Plan for surface-water removal and more substantial handling.
LOOP-LOC
A cover designed around your pool.
LOOP-LOC offers custom safety covers for residential and commercial pools, including options for pools with raised features and unusual shapes.
Mesh: Super Dense Mesh combines sunlight blocking with drainage. Aqua-Xtreme Virtually Solid Mesh offers another light-blocking, draining option.
Solid: ULTRA-LOC III combines solid-cover light blocking with lighter handling than traditional solid materials.
Special features: Ask about cover treatments for raised spas, waterfalls and deck obstructions to achieve the right fit.
Hydra
Seasonal protection, tailored to fit.
Hydra safety covers use custom dimensions, reinforced webbing, stainless-steel springs and brass anchors for a secure seasonal installation.
Ultra Mesh: Hydra 98.9 Ultra Mesh blocks 98.9% of sunlight while allowing water to drain through the fabric.
Solid Vinyl: Reinforced laminated vinyl creates a barrier against sunlight, dust and debris. A drain panel or automatic cover pump manages accumulated water.
Choosing a material: Compare mesh for easier drainage and handling with solid vinyl for stronger debris exclusion.
Model availability, materials and colors vary. Confirm the selected product, warranty and installation requirements before ordering.

Ask about Eclipse, CS3000 and Atom. The right system depends on pool dimensions, track layout, installation space and intended use.
Professional installation and electrical work are part of planning. Remove accumulated water as directed; discuss winter care before off-season use.
Keep the warmth. Keep out the debris.
An insulated spa cover helps retain warmth between uses. Fit and insulation matter just as much as appearance.
Merlin offers foam-core covers with different reinforcement and vapor-wrap options. Meyco’s DuraCore spa line is another option to discuss. For larger or free-form inground spas, ask about Merlin’s Thermo-Light floating cover.
Bring your spa make and model, overall measurements and photos. We’ll help you consider corner shapes, hinge placement, skirt length, closure hardware and ease of lifting.
A floating thermal cover serves heat-retention and debris-control purposes; do not assume it provides the same protection as a rated safety cover.
Let’s find the right cover.
01 / Share the details: Bring photos, approximate dimensions and details about steps, raised spas, waterfalls or deck obstructions.
02 / Match your routine: Tell us whether your priority is easy handling, debris control, spa heat retention or automatic operation.
03 / Confirm the fit: Discuss final measurements, anchors or tracks, drainage, installation requirements and the selected model’s warranty.
A few things to know before you cover.
Mesh is often easier to handle and lets rain drain through. Solid materials keep out more fine debris and sunlight, but surface water must be removed using the specified pump or drain system. Your surroundings, maintenance routine and chosen material will guide the decision.
Possibly, but anchor positions, condition, cover dimensions and strap spacing must be checked. Share photos and the old cover’s manufacturer information. Reusing anchors should be confirmed before a replacement is ordered.
Some existing pools can accommodate a top-track system. Pool shape, deck space, raised features, mechanism location and electrical access all affect feasibility. An installation review is needed before choosing a system.
No. Maintain active adult supervision and appropriate pool barriers. Keep people and pets off the cover, remove it completely before swimming, and follow the manufacturer’s installation, water-removal and maintenance instructions.
